Pastor Paul A. Wollner was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of Augsburg in September 2017. He was ordained in 2005 and has previously served Good Shepherd and Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Churches in the South Carolina Synod. Pastor Paul received his Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. 

Paul grew up in Central Florida and his call story was shaped by his experiences at his home congregation, St. Stephen - Longwood, FL, and through his time in the Orlando Deanery Boychoir. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and continues to be passionate about Gator sports. Paul met his wife Katherine when they both worked as counselors at Lutheridge. They have four sons, who keep them busy and full of joy. 

Pastor Paul is an active volunteer in the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Winston-Salem (Class of 2019), leads Poverty Simulations for Crisis Control Ministries, and is part of two Advisory Panels for the Davie County Schools. In his limited free time, he likes to plan future family vacations, play a competitive game of Scrabble, and hosts a monthly trivia night at a local bar.
